Sensei Troy A. Maranto Owner 1st Dan Nihon Goshin Aikido 5th Dan Ryuhendo Goshinjutsu

Sensei Troy Maranto was born October 28, 1969 in Baton Rouge. He began his Martial Arts Training in 1985 when he became interested in the Art of Ninjutsu, Since that time Sensei Maranto has studied and became certified in Many styles of Martial Arts that include, Judo, Goshinjutsu, Aikido, Ninjutsu, Jeet Kune Do, and Tang Soo Do, Sensei Maranto served 8 years as an Infantryman in the United States Army, He is a Veteran of the Occupation of Berlin Before the Fall of the Wall and a Veteran of Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm where he instructed Combat fighting techniques to some of his fellow soldiers.

Sensei Maranto has had the opportunity to attend & host Martial Arts seminars and study with many noted instructors that include Dieter Schultz in Germany (AIKIDO), Renzo Gracie (Gracie jujitsu), Dan "The Beast" Severn Professional Wrestler and 3 time UFC Champion, Rod Sachornoski of the Juko Kai Federation, AJ. Advincula (Isshinryu Karate), and Mr. Harold Guerin (Judo Goshinjutsu). Sensei Maranto has personally hosted several seminars with several Hall of Fame Black Belts to include Sensei Robert MacEwen, Sensei Jim Giorgi, Shihan John Deblasio, Master Danny Lane, And Bill "Superfoot" Wallace.

Sensei Maranto is Currently Owner of The Martial Way Aikido School Of Self Defense, and employed by Tri-Parish Contracors as there Safety manager. He is a former 10 year Veteran of the Port Allen City Police Department and is a Former Member of the West Baton Rouge Crisis Resopnse Team (SWAT). Sensei Maranto is Co-founder of the Martial Art RYUHENDO Goshinjutsu, and President of the RYUHENDO International Stick & Knife Society (R.I.S.K.S.) and Also the Director of The Martial Way Demo Team. Chief Instructor for (W.A.S.P) womens Assault and Self Protection Seminars.

Sensei Maranto Holds a 1st Degree Black Belt in Nihon Goshin Aikido a 5th Degree Black Belt in RYUHENDO Goshinjutsu, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do, and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Judo / Goshinjutsu, and a Brown Belt in Isshinryu. Sensei Maranto is also a Certified Controlled Force Law Enforcement Defensive tactics Instructor. Sensei Maranto is also Proficent in many other Martial Arts Styles.

On March 6, 2009 Sensei Maranto was Promoted to Shodan in the art of Nihon Goshin Aikido (NGA) by Sensei Robert MacEwen, Sensei Maranto Continues to train under the Direction of Sensei Robert MacEwen & Sensei Jim Giorgi. of the Aikido School of Self Defense in Middletown New York. Sensei Maranto regards this as one of his greatest Acomplishments.
